Last round for our new name
Our community has spoken. We invited your suggestions to change our acronym with a name reflecting our core activities. From your votes, we came to a shortlist: COMMS, COM, PUBLIC, PEOPLE and keeping MPR as it is.
Now, we invite our members to make the final decision with us. Click here and post your vote. The deadline is 30 June.
We selected the top four (4) names since there was a tie for third place and a people’s suggestion as a wild card. Now, there can be only one.
If you are a member of MPR, please vote to keep MPR or for one of the new names that best represents our specialities of communications, marketing, fundraising, and audience and community engagement. The selected name will be approved at our General Assembly in the fall.
