Join us for The Artificial Intelligence in Museums Survival Exchange, a three-part webinar series providing cutting-edge knowledge, practical skills, and inspiring stories explicitly designed for museum communicators. Hosted by ICOM MPR, the series will guide you through the essential aspects of integrating AI into museum communications & practice.

  • Webinar 1: Foundations of AI for Museum Communicators (Interdisciplinary dialogue followed by Q&A)
    Discover the basics of AI technology and its relevance to the museum sector. Learn how AI can enhance communication strategies and improve visitor engagement.
  • Webinar 2: Practical Tools for Museum Communicators (Short Presentations followed by Q&A) Explore a range of AI-driven tools that can be applied in day-to-day museum communication tasks. This session provides hands-on insights and practice-led applications to help you leverage AI in the context of museums.
  • Webinar 3: Future Challenges and Ethical Considerations for Museum Communicators (Panel Discussion followed by Q&A) How is AI transforming how museums communicate and engage with their audiences? Explore the intersection of digital trust, globalization, and the ethical challenges introduced by AI in museum communications. Participate in thought-provoking discussions on how to balance technological advancement with ethical integrity.

What we are looking for:

  • People with an experience to share: Museum communicators currently using AI in their museums with a project to share.
  • Innovators & Storytellers: Those who have pioneered new ideas, applications, or community engagement methodologies, AI-generated projects, and compelling stories that can inspire best practices. 
  • Experts: Individuals with deep knowledge and experience in AI in Audience Engagement, applications of AI in marketing, fundraising and membership, presentations of digital tools or case studies.

Topics of Interest:

We are particularly interested in AI practical tools and digital skills for museum communicators, AI and ethics (digital trust, globalization), and AI and audience engagement, but we are open to other relevant subjects that can provide value to our network.
